The Week of Korean Contemporary Art

The Week of Korean Contemporary Art was held in Moscow in May 2019 at Art-centre Exposed.

The exhibition featured more than 250 works by 20 artists, and was organised by the Association of Fine Arts of Korea in order to introduce a Russian audience to the contemporary art work of Korean artists and strengthen relations between the two countries.

A live performance by Lee Yeon-Soo took place at a special event during the week. The famous Korean artist demonstrated the art of Gohua, ink painting, traditional art of Jeju Island. The event was attended by the President of the Association of Fine Arts of Korea, Cho Byeong-Chal.
