    Presented jointly by Art-centre EXPOSED and Smirnoff.gallery, Ekaterina Vorona’s “The Music of Water” brought for the first time to Moscow a collection of paintings originally shown together at the Russian Museum in Saint Petersburg in 2016.

    Over 50 paintings were united by the main subject of the artist’s work – the element of water. The exhibition introduced the viewer to the search for spectacular ways to depict water in its eternal movement, its various states, each time differently interpreted by the artist. The life-giving element, the beginning of life shown in bright colour varieties; sea transparency and dark currents depicting mysterious shapes and skeletons; whimsical fountains jets; free-flowing rivers; channels under monumental bridges; boiling waterfalls; winter creating ice crystals; the eerie silence of ponds; and the whirlpool of ocean waves…
