An exhibition of works from the renowned French tapestry house, founded in 1878, Jules Pansu.
Many surprises awaited visitors to the exhibition:
– The first showing of unique Joan Miró chairs reflecting his designs and approved by the the Fundació Joan Miró: “Personnage 1937” and “Oiseau 1937”.
– Selections from some of the best collections of Jules Pansu tapestries, including those not previously exhibited in Russia.
– A special guest of the event, the Chevillotte Factory, provided an exact replica of the Louis XVI billiard table made by the manufacturer for the Palace of Versailles.
