Online Pastel Masterclasses

Due to the measures introduced to limit the activity of museums, exhibition halls and cultural events with the participation of the public, a series of online master classes was held this year as part of the 5th exhibition of the National Pastel Society “Crossings. 2020”.

On December 4, master classes of Sergey Usyk “Autumn Dog” and Valeria Kulikova “Flowers”
were held, as well as an interview “Three Ways in Art” with artist and art critic Denis Gardari.

On December 5, Olga Abramova’s master class “Rhythms of lines and nodes of attention in the picture” and Sergey Bakin’s demo classes “Ballet” and Elena Tatkina’s “Graphic image of a tree in a landscape” took place.

On the final day of the 5th exhibition of the National Pastel Socirty “Crossings. 2020”, the following events took place:
Olga Guseva’s master class “Light and atmosphere in the Landscape”, an interview with Denis Gardari, Alexey Vitkovsky’s lecture “Extrapolation and interpolation of compositional schemes in fine art” and Alexey Vitkovsky’s demo class “Landscape with water lilies”.
