“Femininity”

A joint exhibition by artists Sofia Akimova and Svetlana Malakhova, curated by Alyona Alekseeva.

The exhibition focused on the presentation of female nudity throughout the history of art, and reflected on important issues of contemporary discussion, such as feminism, body image and identity. Selected works were donated by the artists for a charity auction held in the gallery, with the funds received being sent to the women’s mutual assistance centre “YouAreNotAlone”.
