Chamber Orchestra Kremlin: Season 2019-20 Cycle of Concerts

A fourth full cycle of seven concerts at the gallery was planned for season 2019-20. Due to restrictions imposed as a result of the global pandemic, however, the final two concerts of this cycle had to be postponed. The three concerts which took place in early 2020 were timed to coincide with the anniversary of Robert Burns, St Valentine’s Day, and International Women’s Day. An additional concert was also held on 13th November 2019 to celebrate the birthday of the orchestra’s founder and Music Director, Misha Rachlevsky.

Amongst a large repertoire which the orchestra presented were works by Mozart, Mendelssohn, Elgar, Dvořák, Vivaldi, Bach, Weinberg, Rachmaninov, Rossini, Schumann, Tchaikovsky and Sarasate.
