The second annual exhibition organised by the National Pastel Society of Russia was held at Art-centre Exposed.

The exhibition presented the best works of Russian pastel artists and invited foreign guests, with over 65 artists selected to take part. The project was initially conceived as being primarily for artists from across Russia. However, the geography of the exhibition quickly expanded and eventually included paintings by artists from Belarus, Belgium, Finland, France, Germany, Great Britain, Luxembourg, Kazakhstan and Turkey.

The exhibition was divided into two categories, broadly consisting of professional and young artists. Each category was judged by a recognised master pastelist, Sergei Oussik and Viktor Braginsky.

More than 700 people visited the event across 4 days, which also included lectures, demonstrations and master classes in the art of pastel painting.
