“AFTERPARTY”

An exhibition of paintings by Pavel Shappo, an evocative and multidisciplinary artist from Belarus already well known in Europe. AFTERPARTY represents a single story made of separate elements-paintings. The exposition included a series of big canvases created in 2015-2016 as well as a selection of earlier works from different series. Also included was the Bar Bottle installation created in 2014. It is a separate work with its own history, telling the story of a cosy world of cocktails, wines and coffee. “The world is like one big orchestra wh ere his Holiness, the barman, is the conductor”.
