Laura Hogan is an American artist currently living near Chester UK, after spending several years working and creating in Moscow. She has a degree in Fine Arts and Neuropsychology, and is currently studying for a Masters in Art Therapy. With this background, Laura’s artistic development is entwined with her life-long curiosity for phenomenology and the subjective nature of the shared human experience.

While her work has evolved over time to cover many mediums, its intent has always been to inspire conversations about the subjective realities created by the human mind. Through her creations, Laura explores subjects dealing with space, time and thought. The goal of Laura’s art is to inspire her viewers to generate their own interpretation, to better understand the differences in human perspectives, and to strive to see one another’s points of view more clearly. She encourages us to delve deeper into the relativity of the mind, in order to illuminate the endless interpretations that may be derived from a single work of art.

Her works have been shown, inter alia, in galleries in New York, Moscow, London and Dublin.
